I applied something like 6 years ago, the guy were joking with the dispatchers about starting soon. I usually don't join in the "this is a scam" crowd, but this was a rough one Way too many towns pull the ole Jersey hustle. I have no issue with them hiring their own... but to have a HUGE testing pr...

Campus PDs tend to have a common theme of low morale and low pay. They tend to frown upon productivity. If you need a stepping stone to get on the job do it.

There is easily over 350 people taking this written exam on May 7th. I will put my money on for 1 MAYBE 2 open positions. Wow very different process from when I applied with them. I just had an interview wit a lieutenant and then a HUGE panel interview with the chief, captain and 10+ college admini...

I have absolutely no info into this process but it is NOT unheard of to have that many at a test for 1-2 spots

I as well as a few guys I work with have applied there multiple times over the years, no call back. I heard anyone that works in an inner city/urban department had their applications put to the side bc we ‘have too much experience’ and ‘will get bored and leave’. Not sure how true that is but since...
