JOB ANNOUNCEMENT:

Township of Hamilton Police Department Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEOII)

The Township of Hamilton is accepting applications for Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer (SLEOII). The position is 20 hours per week. Starting wage is $19.00 per hour.

The applicant must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of New Jersey; able to read, write, and speak the English language; be sound in body and health; be of good moral character and have not been convicted of any criminal offense involving moral turpitude; possess a high school diploma/GED and a valid New Jersey driver’s license.

Applicants will be subjected to drug screening, psychological testing, and oral interview(s).

Applications are available at the Township of Hamilton Police Department, 6101 13th Street, Mays Landing, NJ, 08330 between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications can also be downloaded at: www.hamiltonpd.com

The Hamilton Township Police Department in Atlantic County has announced their written test and PT will be administered on Saturday, March 9th, 2019. The application period is open until 4 p.m. on March 1, 2019 via PoliceApp.com.

Hiring new officer's doesn't necessary mean they fired anyone. Some officers could have retired, transferred, ranked up, changed career, and etc..
