It’s frozen with no end in sight. I’ve been at 44,000 since since 2015. Don’t even apply to this low life department.

This is the third time I am receiving a cert from the NJDOC from this list. I received one originally after I took the test, didn't show up to Phase 1 & 2, got taken off the list. A few months later, received another cert, declined, now this one. Are they dying for people or what?

Yes, there is nothing enticing people to stay with the department at this point.

Are you DOC? Is it true that now that the title has changed, you don't have to wait a year to carry out of the academy? I am just curious. Usually the certs said Correction Officer Recruit, this one said something about an apprentice.

Yes I am. You have to qualify with your off duty after you graduate but you can carry as a COR now.

Where do you go to qualify for your of duty weapon after graduation? If you don’t mind asking.

You go to the range to qualify as you would with the duty weapon. DOC used to go to fort dix but I believe they now qualify at sea girt

So now you don’t have to wait till you become a senior officer to carry off duty anymore?
