Go to the NJ PTC website and click on Waiver Section, then download the PTC Form 15, you would be checking off Federal to Basic Police. No, FLETC does not waive anybody, especially State and Local. Some 1811 jobs accept Quantico certs from DEA and FBI, but that's it.

The hiring agency head requests a PTC Waiver, but only after they hire you, it cannot be done prior to you being appointed. Once you are appointed, the agency has 1 year to get you into an Academy to take whatever classes the PTC deems necessary for your Waiver. The NJ PTC website explains it all in...
