Everyone takes the test. I’m close to positive they don’t do waivers either, everyone goes to the academy unless you have a class A cert.

Is anyone familiar with their process? Couple buddies of mine put in for it and asked if I knew and i have 0 clue. I don’t understand how they plan to go through 1,000 apps and narrow it down to less then half let alone the rest of the process haha

they must be doing it batches, I received my packet via mail mid March and it was due March 26th. still havent heard back yet though since. Still no word back? Few buddies of mine sent their background packets in and haven’t heard a word still. Wondering if that’s normal or if they got the ol boot.

Most departments require at least an 80 to apply. Unless you have a hook in Monmouth county that application is going straight to the shred-it.
