Re: 2019-2020 LEE EXAM RESULTS
It’s a Monday to Friday job with weekends off/holidays off and you can work on weekends for overtime. Sheriffs is also less likely for layoffs and budget cuts cause the county has a ton of money unl...

Re: Pensions
It's 30. 20 and out is supposedly coming back for a test run for 50% and no medical. That will probably not last too long due to the current climate and people edging to get out.

If anyone is wondering what the NJDOC academy will be like here’s a video. https://youtu.be/irSC4oYc3mU Police academy is similar just a few different things and not as bitter . But this pretty much sums it up so yeah, thought I’d share. Depends where you go. I've done both Sea Girt and Monmouth Co...

I received certs from Asbury Park (#45) and Freehold Twp. (#70) Congrats!! That is amazing. Would you take either or are you hoping for one specifically? But looks like it might be some time before I get any certs. It doesn't really matter to me. Freehold is closer and pays more, ideally I would li...

This question was posted already but I couldn't find it on the thread. If I got a cert from a county and it said "all departments" I'm assuming that means I am ranked for any municipal department within that specific county correct? If I change address into a different county, am I still ...

It’s not a shit show whatsoever. The job requires commitment, dedication, sacrifice, confidence, knowledge, and precision, and in times like this, we need to be as optimistic as possible, and be on point with everything. We know what the job entails going in. And as long as you know you’re doing th...

Re: 2019-2020 LEE EXAM RESULTS
That is incorrect information. 30 years for 65%, but you can still do a special retirement at 25 years for 60%. Really? Is this regardless if you’re in PERS or PFRS This is in regards to PFRS. I am not 100% sure about PERS. PERS probably will be gone within the next decade. Who knows if any pension...
