Re: Next academy class start date ?

Does anybody know where Middlesex County corrections go for Academy? I'm assuming Sea Girt is for state NJDOC, not county. Sea Girt is only for State Police, State Corrections and national guard. I believe middlesex county has their own actual academy. For example Somerset County no longer has a Po...

Yea I’m asking because my agency is the same way. Long sleeves year round with under carriers.
Are you state police? I didn’t think there was other agencies who still wore long sleeves year round

Re: Long sleeves and concealable vest

As far as long sleeves year round is concerned, state police is the ONLY department in NJ that still does that unless you have tattoos in some departments.....as far as outtervest that depends on the town....some towns do and others don’t

Re: 2019-2020 LEE EXAM RESULTS

I received certs from Asbury Park (#45) and Freehold Twp. (#70) Congrats!! That is amazing. Would you take either or are you hoping for one specifically? But looks like it might be some time before I get any certs. It doesn't really matter to me. Freehold is closer and pays more, ideally I would li...

Re: 2019-2020 LEE EXAM RESULTS

Just heard from a reliable source, that as of now, newark has decided for no academy for the remainder of 2020. And possible lay offs, but the lay offs are not certain yet. Also the higher ups and the director have taken 20% cuts from their salary, in order to assist with the budget. This definitel...

If your Notification of Eligibility states "Jurisdiction: Statewide - All Depar" does that mean you are ONLY on the state list?

I do live in a civil service town though.
This question was asked multiple times you have to go back a few pages

Does anyone know what counties or departments do a preliminary PT test? I was certified by a couple places in Ocean county last process before moving and they have you do a non disqualifying PT test. Just wondering what other departments or counties do the same.
What departments?
