Monmouth County Chief Exam

Out of curiosity, if one is already certified, do they still need to take that test? Or could one simply start sending their resumes to those chiefs towns in Monmouth county? Is it an absolute prerequisite to take that exam to do so?

True, it really sucks though knowing I basically took the test for nothing. Some places follow a legit process, and others do not. Some places follow a legit process, and others do not. Simply put, if you want to get hired, you take every test to increase your chances.
