I can only speak from my experience. I am from north jersey. It seems because there are so many spots that are needed for shore towns, especially in ocean and cape May that it’s the most realistic way of becoming a class 2. I relocated down to ocean city NJ in December. Started the academy in Decemb...

Mine submitted mine about 2 weeks ago give it take a few days and I had my interview Tuesday. So expect to be called sometime very soon

Just curious what you guys do to find information on different police Department’s for interviews. Obviously utilize the department websites but a lot of them don’t really have much info especially the smaller departments aside from how many officers, a few programs they run, and the mission stateme...

Believe you need to be on civil service list in order to be hired or currently working for a civil service town which you could then transfer from.

They have in the past. I had one in my waiver class a while back. They also have been known to send to the academy. This one is worth the $20 fee.
Didn’t the post say hiring full certified officers? Unless I was mistaken
