Re: New Jersey Transit
Can anyone give any insight into how the interview goes? Is it a panel interview or one on one?

Re: New Jersey Transit
It’s a Panel interview with either an LT and a Deputy Chief or two Deputy Chiefs and an HR personnel. They’ll ask you numerous questions each @blue22

The 2020 Testing Announcement is out for the NJ Transit Police Department on PoliceApp.com at: https://www.policeapp.com/Entry-Level-N ... -Jobs/670/
The application period will open on Monday, February 24th, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. with only 1,500 applications being accepted. In the past, the application period has closed during the first hour. This time they are accepting an additional 500 applicants, but it will likely close quickly again. It is important to have a policeapp.com account established as well as a digital copy of your resume, college transcript, and military DD214 (If applicable) to attach upon submission of the online application.
The PT assessment is scheduled for either Saturday, April 4th or Sunday, April 5th, 2020. For those who pass the physical assessment, the written exam is scheduled for either Saturday, April 18th or Sunday, April 19th, 2020.
NJ Transit uses the IPMA-HR exam which is different than every other exam currently used in New Jersey. Commonly, 50% to 60% fail this exam. While NJ Transit uses the exam as a pass/fail assessment to establish a hiring pool rather than a rank order list based on test score, the testing process has proven very challenging.
