The Morris County Park Police Department is accepting applications for Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer positions.
DUTIES:
In accordance with New Jersey Title 40A:14-146.10 to 18: Vehicular and foot patrol conducting site security at events throughout the year, including but not limited to: control and enforcement of crowds, traffic, and parking.
Road patrol.
Any other law enforcement functions, as needed.
Must be available and willing to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
REQUIREMENTS:
Training: Applicants must already possess certification from the New Jersey Police Training Commission (P.T.C.) as a Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer.
Citizenship: U.S. citizen
Age: 18 years of age or older
Residence: Must reside in the State of New Jersey at the time of appointment.
Education: High School diploma or its equivalent at the time of appointment.
Driver’s License: Must possess valid New Jersey Driver’s License at the time of appointment.

SALARY:
$20.00 per hour.
