NJDOC authority
NJDOC authority
In NJ Correctional officers are called correctional police officers. Are they considered cops in NJ? I’m guessing based on the name they have arrest powers on and off duty? Sorry if the question has been answered before but I’m new here. Just trying to figure it out

Yup both state and county officer have “correctional Police officer” in their title and uniform. Only thing you don’t learn is title39 which is traffic laws.
