I understand this is a civil service job so does that mean I would need permission from my agency to transfer over there as well? I had the notion I would only need permission from my current department if I were to leave for another civil service municipality. Any info is appreciated, thank you guys.
You only need permission for an intergovernmental transfer. You don’t need permission if you’re responding to a cert and going through the hiring process as everyone else would that isn’t already holding a class a cert
