Camden County Police
Re: Camden County Police
Do they take all of the camden county residents even with low scores before going to other counties?
Re: Camden County Police
Their website mentions:
""New changes to the civil service laws now provide an alternative path to becoming a full-time police officer without taking the entry-level examination."
..and allows you to apply online for a full-time position. Has anybody done this yet? If so, what is the process like?
Thanks

It's a new route for minorities to have a chance at becoming a police officer in NJ called S3220.DJC1 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 21, 2021 12:00 pm Their website mentions:

Re: Camden County Police
Can someone please explain this to me
Re: Camden County Police
To my understanding, if you are a certified police officer in NJ in a non-civil service department, you would have to take the LEE and be placed on the list to be hired by a civil service PD. Now with the new rule, if you’re a certified PO, you would now be able to lateral over to a civil service department without having to take the LEE.
