You might get a cert from corrections later down the line. As far as being a sheriff goes, I have no idea.DanielCop7 wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 6:02 pm Hey I want to congratulate everyone who passed the LEE TEST. I did passed with 78. I’m 37 years old. (This means I can not be a municipal police officer) Next time I will take the Bernstein prep course lol.

I don’t think we have to do PQT in Essex county . I will have to double check that but I’m like 90% sure we don’t have to do that.Tc12321 wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 8:59 pmTrue. But the first step is normally the PQT which is done in big groups of certified candidates. Don’t see how they’d do that with the social distancing standards. Certainly wouldn’t wave that.94rookie94 wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 6:01 pm I feel like they can start the process of sending certifications out because it’s gone be a couple months before we even get to the last process which is the academy . I don’t think they should wait ... I feel like they should at lease start the background checks and interview with potential officers.

Only state police holds a PQT, never heard of a local department doing that, unless it’s a chiefs test.
