Post by Bluebrother856 » Tue Mar 24, 2020 8:18 pm

what’s everyone doing to get through these shifts?! Especially when the call volume is low ?? My department have stopped all car stops that are not an immediate threat to the public .... love to hear how everyone is doing ?

We aren't doing car stops unless it's like you said, an obvious 4-50 or such. My town's call volume was down a lot until today. Some dead people, 4+ domestics and a ton of EMS calls for "flu like symptoms" made for a hectic day.

no traffic stops

non emergency calls we're taking via phone, if they want a report they come to headquarters and we speak to them through a window

medical calls go straight to the FD

we're only taking mva and dv calls

tonite is my day 1 and im already losing my mind lol
