I just spoke to them yesterday and asked for price. They are right next to me. I also called Coastline, but they have only Rothko boots. That is the cheapest one you can have. Bates or 5:11 is much better quality.

Has anyone not received an email or anything in the mail yet? I went to county in December to do the fingerprinting and give all my paperwork and never heard back.

Does anyone know DOC pay scale? From first year to maybe 3 or 4 years in? Also if you live up north are you stationed in that area? For example Newark if you live north jersey? Thank you.

Pay scale is 4,000 increase every year within a 10 step program. Rookie year is 40,000. 2nd year is 44,000, 3rd year 48,000 and so on. As for where you’re stationed it depends. If you live IN Newark. They will send you to northern state prison. If you live just outside of Newark they will not send you there only residents of Newark get sent to Northern as a rookie out of the academy. They usually try to keep you no more than an hour from the facility you’ll work at. I live in somerset county and I work at New Jersey State Prison which is a 50 minute drive both ways for me.
