Are psych tests being scheduled for top candidates only for the January class? Or do they do a 2nd selection for Psych test for July class?

Yes, the psychs are scheduled for those who have initially been selected.
If you didn’t get scheduled for a psych test, are you no longer in the process? Thanks for the info.

Last year, candidates for the July class were scheduled for their psych leading up to the July class. I believe those processing now are just processing for the January class.

Just was notified via police app I’m eligible for the July class as long as I successfully complete the next phase this spring. Did everyone get this general email? I know Cape May sent this general email to every one about their second class and never heard back from them after.

I scored close to a 95 and was not selected, nor did I receive an email pertaining to the July class. Oh well.

Based on how Morris County administered last year's process, Morris County only sends the emails regarding the July class to those who are being selected. Everyone should keep in mind that with all of the academies that hold a second class as part of the single testing cycle, often times, they need to process additional candidates when the class gets closer. Many of the top candidates have other opportunities and drop out of the process before the second class comes around. For anyone who passed the physical and completed the interview and was not eliminated due to background, psych, medical, you have a chance of being offered a slot up to the time of the class.
