I Didn't get mine in the original email. They sent me another email today with the attachment.
Thank you, I did get it. Another quick question I got the PEPP Certificate completed by my doctor but only one copy. Did any get 2 copies made for the two days of PEPP sessions or is one enough? I thinking of making a copy otherwise I have to get my doctor to fill it out again...
Just photocopy it

So after a couple emails and a phone call, I’ve heard back. Deferred to 163. I asked because some life changing news came into the picture as my wife and I are expecting our first child in Late Feb/ early March. If 163 kicks off in Jan 2022, I would be missing the birth of my first born. The trooper said that I could try and fill out a deferral form to get 164 class. I wish I could do 163 and make it to the birth. What timing…. Man o man… any advice from anyone? And to throw more into the mix, I’ll be 30 going on 31 in 2022. Pushing the age limit soon….

Wouldn't count on January start, I'd say March /April

Congrats on getting the deferral! I agree, in my opinion I do not think the class will begin in Jan - maybe April...but we'll see.
Anyone working on PT in Ocean County looking to run, etc. PM me. I still did not get in the WhatsApp group if there is one. I have my AAD for next weekend. :D

So a word of advice in terms of children. It’s a life changing moment if you were to miss BUT I think the trade off to set you and your family up with the career would outweigh the day. I’m still waiting to hear anything but if I were you, I would just go into the class 163. Maybe it will be a return home on weekends and you may even get to be there for the birth. You never know, but it’s a sacrifice that I think is well worth it… put it to you like this, if I were to get into the class (162 , my daughter was just born in June) I would have left for 5 months straight . But in the end it’s worth it

gang- I have a question for anyone that was in class 161 cycle and got deferred to class 162.

Did you get a deferred letter AND then a COE letter - or just one letter/email saying you had a COE for 162 ??

Thanks
