The Harding Township Police Department is currently accepting applications from experienced New Jersey Police officers, recent NJ Police Academy graduates, and candidates currently enrolled in an alternate route program - for the position of Police Officer.
Candidate qualifications include:
Must possess a current New Jersey Police Training Commission certificate for basic course for police officers from an accredited New Jersey police academy, OR recently graduated from a NJ PTC academy, OR currently enrolled in a NJ PTC academy.
Must have United States Citizenship and New Jersey residency
Must be of good moral character and not convicted of any criminal offense
Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license
These requirements are only minimum standards. Other factors such as military experience, college education, etc. are also considered.
