Re: NJ LEE Information
Bergen County is probably the most competitive county in the state. If you live in a non-civil service town, you would be looking at county (Bergen) and state positions Very high 90's is generally needed there for county positions.

I’d say 2nd round, but first rd is not an unrealistic hope.Infantry90 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 7:29 pm Hey I’m a Paterson resident with a score of 91.8 is that a good enough score to get a cert in Paterson first round?

2022 NJ LEE Application NOW OPEN
The NJCSC has opened the formal application portal for the 2022 NJ LEE statewide civil service exam. They opened the portal on January 3, 2022 with a closing date of February, 28, 2022.
The link to the NJCSC Application portal is: https://info.csc.state.nj.us/vats/
In a very confusing way, the NJCSC has modified the normal application process for the NJ LEE and now requires that interested candidates submit individual applications online for each title and jurisdiction for which he or she would like to be eligible. It is important to note that most (not all) jurisdictions have residency preferences, so residents are placed ahead of non-residents on the formal list.
The exam dates are expected to be set for this Spring.
I've included an article explaining the current application process and "residency preference" which will help candidates in choosing to which departments he or she will apply. The article is on this forum at: viewtopic.php?p=27142#p27142

Re: 2022 NJ LEE Information
Now that the 2022 NJ LEE application period closed on Monday, 2/28/22, the NJCSC will be receiving the applicant data this week (from the vendor who handled the application process) to upload in their system. The NJCSC will be looking at the number of applicants and determining how many seats they need by region to finalize the testing dates, sites, and times.

Re: 2022 NJ LEE Information
The NJCSC generally takes 3 months from the last testing date. Since the last test date is July 14, 2022, the results will most likely be out mid to late October.Infantry90 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 8:18 am Any idea when the scores will be given for this new exam cycle?
