Don't worry, 105 will sell us out like usual. Yes we might get a pay increase, but what OTHER givebacks will they agree too. Pay increases will be a wash in the end.

Just he medical plan alone to cwa is a huge give back and offering only 8% to all the money the date saves by switching us to cwa is a slap to our face state does not care about us this department sucks not staying

I would be shocked if the state accepted that. That 15k-20k one time will be shot down and the state will come back with a 0,0,1,1 offer with CWA medical. PBA will turn it down and then you'll go to arbitration where you will get 0's.

Ok. Just curious if there will be chances to make more than just the base salary being that it's not much. That's if I make it through all the phases! Appreciate the feedback.
It’s in the talks between pba and state of top pay being 113-120 step 1 huge jump to 60k but our medical is getting hit
When will we find out if the state accepted the PBA's salary increase offer?
How are the insurance deductibles now if any and about how much are the weekly or bi-weekly payments?

Correctional Staff Training Academy. While in training, candidates will be paid bi-weekly based upon an annual salary of $34,000.

11.5 years to max pay $85,100

Wow that takes a long time and not a lot of money. However, there is overtime that could raise that salary i assume.

OT all depends on what Facility you work at, Some have more than other. Most likely you'll get a second job.

I think you meant, “most likely you’ll leave state corrections for any other law enforcement gig” 😝
